The eMAR replaces paper medication administration records with a modern, color-coded daily grid. Staff select a date and facility, see every client's scheduled medications as colored indicators, and tap to document each dose.
As-needed medications appear in a separate section per client. Staff click 'Log PRN', select the medication, provide the reason for administration, and optionally document the outcome later.
CareSphere ships with 3,449 medications (brand and generic names) pre-loaded from a comprehensive pharmaceutical database. Staff search by brand or generic name with instant autocomplete — no manual data entry needed.
When a prescription is created, CareSphere automatically generates scheduled dose records based on the frequency (Every Morning, Twice Daily, Every 4 Hours, etc.). 15 frequency types are supported out of the box.
